Overview

Associate Director/Director, Performance Marketing (Bangkok Based, relocation provided) at Agoda. This role leads global pricing and performance marketing strategy, working with senior leadership to optimize price display, volumes and margins across channels, and to manage a pricing and analytics team.

What you will be doing

  • Work with C-level executives and other internal stakeholders to craft a global pricing framework aligned with Agoda’s strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with the Product team to build tools to execute and monitor pricing actions and improve price display across all channels
  • Coordinate with the Market Development team to collect price benchmarking data and intelligence from local markets and respond to moves by competitors and hotel partners
  • Design and deploy pricing actions that balance short-term financial goals with longer-term strategic imperatives
  • Manage a multi-million dollar budget and provide visibility to internal stakeholders
  • Inspire and coach a team of analysts and campaign managers and expand it by hiring talent

What you need to be good at to succeed

  • Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives; experience leading strategy consulting projects is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and love of data
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Ability to foster cooperation across teams and nationalities
  • People management with a track record of hiring and developing talent
  • Experience in defining pricing strategies, P&L management and/or revenue management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a get-things-done attitude
  • Exposure to IT and Product Development; basic coding skills are a plus
