At Bryden Wood, we are expanding our team in Milan to work on large scale projects for the biggest names in the Data Centre and Pharmaceutical sectors.
We are looking for an Associate Architect with site experience, to lead the technical delivery of our Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects. THE ROLE
You will be one of the Architectural leads of our projects in Italy as well as key member on other international projects, working closely with all the other disciplines (Structures, Civils, MEP and Sustainability) and clients to deliver innovative designs.
- Lead the Architectural design for all project stages (from Concept to Construction) including carrying out regulatory compliance check, concept development, Project coordination, H&S, Risk management and project delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of Architects and Engineers, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring team cohesion toward project goals.
- Ensure full compliance with Italian regulations.
- Produce, coordinate and possibly lead official submissions to local authorities.
- Manage project coordination, QA/QC procedures, and risk management.
- Mentor junior Architects and liaise with senior management on project escalations.
WHAT WE NEED
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Must-Have: Deep knowledge of Italian regulations and site experience during construction stages, liaising with General Contractors and some experience with Direzione dei Lavori
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, preferable with previous experience in Data Centre or Pharmaceutical projects in Italy.
- Experience in producing, delivering and possibly signing off official submissions to local authorities.
- Language: Full professional fluency in spoken and written Italian and English .
- Project management: Proven experience in project management would be beneficial.
- Revit & Navisworks: Competent in the use of Revit and Navisworks
