Role Description
The Assistant Villa Manager is a full‑time on‑site role based in Griante, supporting the opening of our new Villa. This role assists the Villa Manager with coordinating guest arrivals and departures, overseeing housekeeping and maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all service standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting all the villa team members, monitoring villa readiness, handling guest requests and feedback promptly, and maintaining accurate records related to occupancy, inventory, and vendor services. The Assistant Villa Manager also collaborates with the broader Greyheath Hospitality team to implement operational procedures, uphold brand standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of guest experience. Qualifications
Experience in luxury hospitality or villa/hotel operations, with skills in guest relations, front‑of‑house support, and service coordination. Operational skills in scheduling, inventory oversight, and basic administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting. Team leadership capabilities, with experience guiding staff, fostering collaboration, and supporting performance standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests, colleagues, and vendors. High attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and organized during peak guest activity. Ability to work on‑site in Como, with flexibility to cover weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed. Proficiency in English; additional European languages (such as Italian or French) are an advantage. Previous experience in boutique or luxury properties, and familiarity with regional hospitality standards, is highly beneficial.
