Assistant Technical Superintendent

For our client, a shipping company, we are seeking an

Assistant Technical Superintendent. The successful candidate will join the Technical Department with the aim of developing professionally and progressively taking responsibility for the technical management of one or more vessels within the fleet.

Ravenna, Italy.

Main responsibilities: Monitoring the technical condition of the fleet; Supporting the management of planned and corrective maintenance activities; Analyzing and handling technical issues reported by vessels; Liaising with Masters and Chief Engineers; Participating in onboard visits, audits, and inspections; Assisting in the planning and management of dry dock projects and shipyard repairs.

Requirements: Seagoing experience as a Second Engineer Officer or Third Engineer Officer, preferably on Oil & Chemical Tankers. xdwybme Applications from Chief Engineers will also be considered, provided they are aligned with the proposed career development path; Good command of both English and Italian; Willingness to relocate to Ravenna, Italy; Availability to travel frequently, mainly within the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Northern Europe, and Baltic regions, for technical visits, inspections, maintenance activities, and dry dock projects.

What we offer: Permanent employment opportunity following a successful onboarding period; Employment under the CCNL Armatori; Gross annual salary between €45,000 and €60,000, depending on experience, skills, and potential; For candidates relocating from outside the area, the company may provide accommodation support;
