WHAT YOU WILL DO

Business development

Analyze the business, propose action plans to the Store Manager to reach qualitative and quantitative objectives, improve results, and support key business strategies. Constantly review sales and KPI performance with the Store Manager. Support the Store Manager in preparing periodical reporting on competitors, product, potential opportunities. Analyze sell‑through, liaise regularly with divisions on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity.

Team Management

Support the Store Manager in following up with every team member on their monthly and yearly objectives to develop behaviour, performance and capabilities. Contribute to creating and fostering a dynamic environment, enhancing team spirit, promoting teamwork, and maintaining harmonious staff relations. Motivate the team and build positive morale to drive results through accountability and celebrating successes. Coordinate and ensure staff follow company guidelines and are held accountable for achieving set goals. In addition, provide training and coaching, and support new staff onboarding.

Client Management

Ensure superior customer service standards through constant team follow‑up to deliver the Versace experience. Serve as a brand ambassador, build relationships with Versace clients, and encourage conversations that create an emotional connection. Expand the customer base by capitalizing on high‑profile clientele and sales. Monitor the team’s use of the customer database, manage CRM actions, and maintain long‑term relationships.

Operations

Ensure stock and back‑room are effectively managed and operational duties are met (goods receiving, transferring, stock‑take, stock arrangement, reporting, etc.). Maintain optimum shrinkage results by enforcing security measures and ensuring consistent inventory accuracy. Remain compliant with operational and company policies and procedures. Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company directives and participate in VM set‑up.

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • 1–3 years’ experience in retail management – luxury experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
  • Full understanding of specialty retail and store operations.
  • Computer skills including operation of retail point‑of‑sale system, Word, Excel and email.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of customer needs and market changes.
  • Good team‑management skills with potential to develop people personally and professionally.
  • Confidence, organisational, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑paced environment, multi‑task with ease while balancing daily responsibilities.
  • A positive and constructive approach, sales focused with the ability to take ownership.
