Purpose of the role :

The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in the store. Connecting with customers, supporting daily store and team activities, and leading performance towards success. We seek someone attentive to detail, reliable, energetic, approachable, punctual, with extensive fashion knowledge and confidence in styling clients. You are a role model, sharing your knowledge and skills with colleagues. The Assistant Manager welcomes and assists customers, supports and coaches the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, and contributes to achieving store targets while ensuring standards and procedures are met. You will also help create a creative and developmental environment for staff.

Expectations of the role :

Selling skills :

  • Be a brand ambassador and embrace the Selling Ceremony

Operations :

  • Proficient in POS systems, payments, and fraud prevention
  • Manage store opening/closing, inventory, loss prevention, and admin tasks
  • Handle customer needs, stock replenishment, and transfers

Commercial & Merchandising :

  • Manage deliveries, VM standards, and window displays
  • Ensure the shop floor is well maintained

Human resources :

  • Support recruitment, training, and development plans
  • Motivate and coach the team, fostering a positive environment

Required knowledge & skills :

  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Understanding of luxury customer experience and KPIs
  • Interest in fashion and market trends

Required qualities :
