WHAT YOU WILL DO
Business development
- Analyze the business, propose to Store Director action plans to reach qualitative and quantitative objectives, improve results, and support key business strategies.
- Constantly review along with Store Director the sales and KPI performance of the store.
- Support the Store Director in preparing periodical reporting on competitors, products, and potential opportunities.
- Analyze sell-through and liaise regularly with the different divisions on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity.
Team Management
- Support the Store Director in following up with every team member on their monthly and yearly objectives to develop behavior, performance, and capabilities.
- Contribute to creating and fostering a dynamic environment, enhancing team spirit, promoting teamwork, and maintaining harmonious staff relations.
- Motivate the team and build positive morale to drive results through accountability and celebrating successes.
- Coordinate and ensure staff follow company guidelines and are held accountable for achieving set goals.
- Assist in providing effective training and coaching, and in‑store follow‑up after trainings delivered on brand, products, operations, and soft skills.
- Participate in the daily and weekly in‑store briefings to motivate, set objectives, and demonstrate how to reach them.
- Assist with onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are groomed, inviting, professional, and knowledgeable on product and related company information.
- Support the Store Director in training and development of staff.
Client Management
- Ensure superior customer service standards, through constant follow‑up with the team, to deliver the Versace experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador and build relationships with Versace clients, engaging in customer interactions.
- Encourage team members to focus on the desired customer experience during a Versace visit.
- Develop and expand the customer base by capitalizing on high‑profile clientele and sales.
- Monitor the team on managing their customer database, ensuring long‑term relationships and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Implement and manage the boutique’s community outreach program to maintain active social relationships with clients.
- Support the organization of in‑store and promotional events, liaising with merchandising and PR teams.
Operations
- Ensure that the stock and backroom are effectively managed and operational duties are met (goods receiving, transferring, stock take, stock arrangement, reporting, etc.).
- Ensure optimum shrinkage results by enforcing security measures and maintaining consistent accuracy in inventory levels.
- Remain in compliance with operational and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company directives and participate in VM set‑up.
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
- 1–3 years’ experience in retail management—luxury experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
- Full understanding of specialty retail and store operations.
- Computer skills, including operation of retail point‑of‑sale system, Word, Excel, and e‑mail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain long‑term relationships with clients, and understanding of market needs and changes.
- Good team‑management skills, with the potential to develop people personally and professionally.
- Confidence, organizational skills, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive within a high‑paced environment, multitask with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities.
- A positive and constructive approach, sales‑focused with the ability to take ownership.
