We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and surrounded by a 300-acre organic estate, vineyards, and exquisite gardens.


The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of high-end restaurant operations, a genuine passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a refined environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elegant service flow.
  • Supervise and guide the team, providing leadership, coaching, and hands-on assistance when needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
  • Prepare staff schedules and manage table assignments to ensure optimal service coverage.
  • Interact with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle requests or issues with professionalism and grace.


Candidate Profile


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems and operational tools.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Fluent English is required;
    additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of food, wine, and service standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
