Offer Description The post is for a six-year period. The annual gross salary is about 50.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is French Literature:
Required research duties: Research will encompass the field of French literary studies, focusing particularly on the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Particular attention will be devoted to the connections between literature and historical-political dynamics, alongside the transmission and interpretation of texts through literary translation, where theoretical proficiency is deemed essential.
Required teaching duties: Teaching duties will be fulfilled in the framework of the subject area FRAN-01/A (French Literature), to be delivered within the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Department of Humanities, as well as the PhD programme.
Foreign language required: excellent knowledge of the French language (knowledge of the English language will constitute a further element of evaluation).
Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching and research load (the researcher is required to teach also in Italian);
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12;
Hours of work: full time.
