Company Description

Taverna Trastevere is a restaurant that brings a slice of Rome to Milan. Opened in 2024, it’s the second location of the concept originally founded in London. The team’s goal is simple: share authentic Roman cuisine, traditions, warmth and conviviality with Milan’s audience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Milan. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality customer service, managing staff, handling scheduling, and maintaining inventory. They will also be responsible for supporting the Manager in administrative tasks and operational planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service and hospitality
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic administrative and clerical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus
