We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Events Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team in Milan, supporting the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of events across Palazzo Cordusio.


Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and coordinating events from planning to post-event, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new event sales opportunities.
  • Handle client inquiries, prepare tailored proposals and quotations, conduct site inspections, and secure contracts.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with operations, F&B, marketing, and entertainment teams to guarantee smooth event delivery.
  • Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate them to relevant teams.
  • Oversee event set-ups, rehearsals, and tastings, ensuring brand and service standards are maintained.
  • Support budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reconciliation for events.
  • Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and development of creative event concepts.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in event sales or hospitality sales, preferably within the luxury or lifestyle sector.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to last-minute changes, especially during new openings.
  • Competence in managing budgets, proposals, and contracts.
  • Fluent in Italian and English;
    other languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
    knowledge of CRM or event management software is an advantage.
  • Team player with leadership potential.
