Purpose of the position: As Asset Technology Engineer , you will respond to the Technical Support Dept (TECSEDA ) and be part of the Asset Based Services .

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Cooperate with all other internal functions to identify technical needs for vessels, equipment upgrades or new builds.
• Develop feasibility study and conceptual design to meet the internal/external Clients requirements, defining execution planin order to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions.
• Prepare the technical specification required for the purchase of new asset and follow up the whole supply chain process including the final test always ensuring the application of Saipem Quality and Safety standards.
• Ensure technical support to the project for the implementation of the maintenance and the corrective actions to be implemented to solve the daily technical problems, within the assigned budgets.
• Ensure technical support to the operation team in case of troubleshooting to guarantee the minimum downtime and cost impact to vessels during the project execution.
• Put into practice corrective actions to fix problems highlighted by safety alert bulletins, failure reports and non-conformance reports.
• Ensure that mission equipment (Pipe Tensioners, Pipe lay clamp, safety clamp, positioning winches..) performance are maintained and updated, sharing the lesson learned coming from other projects.
• Ensure the compliance with Saipem HSE and Quality standards and international regulation with proper training and courses.

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Offshore engineering.

Experience: 3-5 years in the role

Technical Skills: Knowledge of rotating machines and its components like, winches, motors, gearbox. Hydraulic basic knowledge.

IT Skills: knowledge of MS office suit (Word, Excel, Power Bi), Project, Autocad.

What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the technical support office as matter expert on assigned project.
