Location: Milano Office, Italy
Mission
Be responsible of the pipeline production from bid stage to proper commissioning and installation onboard.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse from the assigned Welding coordinator / Coating engineer, the project team and from the vessel construction team, the data to be utilized and the technical welding equipment requested for each project phase.
- Issue Material Take Off for the offshore production welding equipment (including the welding periphery equipment such as the ILUC, ELUC, PFM, and all others hand tools) or coating equipment to project installation team and Equipment Request to Assets in accordance with the project requirement.
- Coordinate the equipment consumables delivery between the Project, the Asset and the shipping department.
- Issue and monitor the Welding equipment preparation program as per the scope of work and within the delivery time delays.
- Organise if required the Suppliers and Assets FAT and represent the project during the FAT phase.
- Monitor with vessel construction team the welding equipment certification.
- Monitor lay barge welding equipment and equipment consumables and spare parts consumption.
- Schedule and approve the Vessels welding consumable and spare parts PO using vessel input of the welding equipment fitter.
- Issue the budget for the welding equipment, equipment spare parts and equipment consumables mobilisation.
- Coordinate the Welding equipment technician / Coating technician activities and training program with the Vessel management.
- Ensure, if required, the technical assistance onboard of the Vessel at project mobilisation and project kick off.
- Issue a welding equipment optimisation yearly report.
Requirements
- Languages: English Language skills required (and any other specified by Project).
