Role: Asset Manager (International Scope)

Location: Milan or Rome

Salary: €40,000 to €50,000 + Competitive Bonus


We are supporting a leading international renewable energy business in the search for an Asset Manager to join their central operations team.


This is a broad portfolio-level role focused on improving the governance, consistency and performance of asset management activities across an international fleet. You’ll work closely with country teams and central functions to support operational performance, process standardisation and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and standardise core asset management and SPV governance processes across the portfolio, including reporting, insurance claims, budgeting inputs and day-to-day operational administration
  • Support O&M strategy implementation at portfolio level, working with Procurement and internal stakeholders to improve performance, manage framework agreements and identify OPEX savings
  • Coordinate portfolio-level budgeting and cost tracking in collaboration with Planning & Control, ensuring strong visibility of expenditure and operational performance
  • Act as a key point of contact across internal systems, Energy Markets and wider COO functions, helping align asset management activities with trading strategy, compliance and internal processes
  • Support strategic and business-critical initiatives across the portfolio, including new asset onboarding, ESG reporting, refinancing, ERP improvements and wider operational optimisation projects


Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in asset management, operations or a similar portfolio-level role within renewable energy or power
  • Strong understanding of O&M activities , site-level operations and QHSE requirements across operational assets
  • Good knowledge of energy market dynamics , operational performance drivers and asset-level commercial considerations
  • Experience working with ERP systems , ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 , alongside strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong project management, communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with a good understanding of financial and accounting principles , including IFRS
