Asset Management Specialist (R )
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to support governance, standardisation and optimisation of asset management processes across our international portfolio. The role is based in Milan (Martesana) and will work full‑time.
Job Description Summary
As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the governance, standardisation and optimisation of asset management processes across our international portfolio. Working closely with country teams and central functions, you will contribute to maximising operational performance at portfolio level, ensuring consistency, compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide standards for the main administrative and operative processes related to SPV governance and asset management ordinary activities (insurance claims, reporting, budgeting inputs); ensure implementation of these processes and perform internal audits while managing external ones.
- Manage the O&M strategy implementation at portfolio level, defining and fine‑tuning scope, terms & conditions with the support of Procurement; evaluate performance and OPEX savings.
- Manage global framework agreements, including LDs/Bonus payments, energy off‑taking reports and related metrics.
- Coordinate budgeting process at portfolio level, with regular checks on expenditures and OPEX tracking, in collaboration with Planning & Control department.
- Provide guidance to the global asset management team in the use of all company systems and business platforms to ensure full compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Interact with Energy Markets to establish a relationship between departments and support implementation of energy dispatching/trading strategy at portfolio level.
- Provide support and technical advisory for strategic initiatives impacting the portfolio (e.g., portfolio warehouse, portfolio refinancing, ERP process hierarchy review).
- Manage the operational phase of onboarding new assets and ensure smooth, regular processes with ad‑hoc presence during development, construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct business analysis at portfolio level, identifying OPEX/CAPEX savings through coordination with area managers.
- Provide active support to GROWTH and other COO departments to ensure receipt of all necessary inputs to the business models related to revamping, repowering and colocation initiatives.
- Act as a focal point for Communication/Sustainability topics: provide inputs for ESG reporting and act as a bridge/collector from site to headquarters.
- Manage special and relevant projects/issues related to portfolio operations, requiring seniority to manage regulatory/law compliance and interact with authorities or other stakeholders.
- Promote and uphold high HSQE standards across the asset portfolio, contributing to a strong safety and sustainability culture.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the power industry and energy business.
- In‑depth understanding of O&M activities performed on site and related QHSE duties.
- Excellent knowledge of energy market dynamics and trends.
- Relevant knowledge of complex ERP systems, with prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly valued.
- Advanced IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Proper understanding of accounting and financial rules and principles, including IFRS.

Education
- Technical background, preferably a degree in Management Engineering.
- Additional training in Economics or an MBA considered a plus.
