Assembly and Erection Superintendent

Assembly and Erection Superintendent , you will respond to the construction manager and be part of the ABSER. You will manage 12 supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and control the erection works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring the management of interfaces with production superintendents, engineering, methods disciplines and quality control.
• Manage the activities to integrate sub‑assemblies and complete the end product, including Mechanical Completion, preparation for load out, sea transport/offshore hook up load in and installation on foundations, as applicable for Onshore or Offshore projects.

Tasks

• Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements.
• Set‑up time schedule adhering to the time frame allocated to the specific scope of work.
• Coordinate, and organise when in direct hiring, erection works to ensure correct and cost‑effective performance, in accordance with the established operating programs, coordinating and controlling the activities performed by the dependent teams.
• Coordinate all disciplines involved in the work up to Mechanical Completion optimizing overlapping operations.
• Release mechanically completed system to Commissioning unit in the scheduled sequence.
• Give all information regarding the progress of the work indicating the cause of deviations between the program and the work carried out and propose solutions and/or request instructions to overcome these problems. Control production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure the correct quantities accounts of the works, including updating man‑hours and preliminary cost estimates for scope of work changes.
• Ensure the supervision and monitoring of the works performed, subcontracted or in direct hiring. Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus. Plan and monitor vendors or any specialists activities at site.

Qualifications

Education: High school degree

Experience: 15 years as an assembly superintendent within offshore fabrication industry

Technical Skills:

• Manage the technical and administrative documentation.
• Support the resolution of technical problems encountered during the execution of the works.

IT Skills: Excel and Word

Travel: You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the assigned scope.
