At Flowtec, we are collaborating with one of our key global clients, a Swedish company with over 150 years of history, presence in 180 countries, and a world leader in the manufacturing of pumps and compressors.
We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager – Service.
The ideal candidate is a sales professional with experience in sales, preferably within rental companies, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and B2B environments, as well as proven experience in selling services. This position will report directly to the Business Line Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve service revenue targets in Italy and increase the penetration of service products.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers to identify after-sales service needs.
- Propose appropriate service solutions, both from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Collaborate closely with the technical support team to deliver a committed, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Work jointly with the capital equipment sales team to drive proactive service business and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer incidents and coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure agile and effective solutions.
- Consistently record all commercial activities in the CRM, ensuring accurate market information and an up-to-date database.
- Meet sales objectives by developing action plans to identify prospects, targets, and new markets.
- Follow up on leads generated through different channels.
- Availability to travel more than 50% of the time.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- More than 2 years of sales experience within a high-level industrial company (experience in rental companies will be a plus).
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Experience in sales management and territory management.
- Excellent planning, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Good level of English.
- Strong command of digital tools.
