About the Role
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales within a specific territory by keeping existent Customers portfolio, identifying leads, building client relationships, and checking business performance. This position combines sales and technical focuses through in-person meetings, presentations, internal sales support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client relationships management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct client visits, give sales presentations, answer questions, and negotiate prices and terms to close deals.
- Maintain and update Customer records by CRM (CAS Genesys).
2. Sales activities / Product knowledge
- Product knowledge: Deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively explain their benefits.
- Update and follow all the negotiations, including price, discounts, payment terms.
- Preparing Customers trip with all business information, provided with ERP SAP.
- Visit reports via CRM to be reported to the Manager.
3. Collaboration
- Working with internal teams for the sales activities and supporting marketing initiative to align sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and keep, with the Service Manager, workshops network.
4. Sales target achievement / Analysis
- Work to meet company targets, keep market share, increase sales and keep high the JOST reliability to Customers/Market.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and the needs of the regional market is necessary to identify new opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, mechanical expert or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or target-driven role is often essential. A track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales quotas is highly valued.
- Since the role involves frequent travel within a territory to meet with clients, a prohension to travel and valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems are highly desirable.
- Strong mix of both technical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate product value, present to groups, and build rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, prioritize leads, and efficiently plan travel within the assigned territory.
- Fluent in Italian and good command of English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
