Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office
Location : Remote (Home Office) in South Germany
Job Summary
We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to build new and existing business with accounts in Italy. As Area Sales Manager, you will have a background in field sales, managing your own time, meeting customers face-to-face, and being a confident seller. Ideally, you come from a tools or electrical background with good sector knowledge.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work towards attainable monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and organic growth.
- Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
- Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy
- Managing and evaluating existing distributor base
- Identifying, developing, and closing contracts with new distributors
- Focusing distributor network on vertical markets and differentiated products
- Developing and managing new customer relationships to meet sales targets
- Handling quotations, negotiations, and order intake
- Conducting active market research and monitoring competition and trends
Critical Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, selling similar products (Power Tools / Electrical)
- Experience managing international distributor networks in Italy
- Market management experience in Italy
- Proven track record as an Area Sales Manager
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally
- Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus
- Eligible to work in Germany and reside in South Germany (home office)
