JOB OPENING – Architect / Interior Designer
Blue Lagoon Design , based in Milan, is responsible for the interior design of Blue Lagoon destinations in Iceland , contributing to the creation of immersive experiences that are fully aligned with the brand’s identity.
The design activity embraces a wide range of functional areas— from wellness to hospitality —covering the creation of spas, resorts, innovative lagoon concepts, and hotel facilities across categories from 3-star to ultra-luxury 5+ star standards.
Position
We are looking for an Architect / Interior Designer with proven experience in the hospitality and wellness sector, capable of independently managing multiple projects within the Blue Lagoon universe and providing technical support to creative development from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of creative concepts and presentations
- Preparation of tender drawings using Revit
- Review and coordination of shop drawings during the production phase with suppliers
- Coordination with internal teams and architectural design consultants
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Interior Design, with knowledge of construction methods in the contract furniture sector
- Excellent proficiency in Revit and Rhino
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Location
Milan, with the possibility of travel to Iceland if required
Contract
Fixed-term contract for maternity cover, with a minimum duration of 12 months.
