Application Specialist

Your missions?

- Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, cloud-based SaaS platforms) to support business processes, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance.

- Provide advanced technical support (Level III), diagnosing and resolving incidents, managing service requests and problem-resolution activities in line with SLAs.

- Act as the primary liaison between business users, application vendors, and technical teams, translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.

- Monitor application performance and availability, performing root-cause analysis of failures, bottlenecks and integration issues and implementing corrective measures.

- Develop and execute test plans, regression testing and UAT activities for application changes and releases, ensuring quality prior to production deployment.

- Manage application security, user roles, permissions, access controls, and data integrity across environments.

- Develop training materials and deliver end-user training to drive adoption of new features and best practices.

- Coordinate application upgrades, patches and releases, maintaining configuration documentation, system specifications and knowledge repositories.

Your profile?

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.

- At least 5 years of experience in application support, administration and implementation of enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, SaaS), including software lifecycle management and IT service/incident/change management.

- Strong technical skills in application configuration, system integrations, APIs, data flows, and testing methodologies (regression testing, defect management, UAT); familiarity with data management tools such as Snowflake is a plus.

- Fluent English at C1 level (spoken and written); Italian fluency required for daily collaboration in Italy.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, stakeholder management and organizational skills; proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Nice to have:

- Experience with sustainability or ESG-related applications would be a plus.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

- Gross Annual Salary (Range: EUR 30,000 – EUR 40,000).

- Applicable CCNL: Commerce Sector (CCNL Commercio).

- Freelance option available (remote across Italy): EUR 200 – EUR 250/day.

- The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
