We are now looking for an Application Specialist to join and grow our Customer Success Team in Italy. You will bring your experience and knowledge from the Process & Industry sector, supporting our software solutions and helping customers with implementation and usage. Your software scope includes information management, with a particular focus on the Cadmatic CAD interface Materials.

Your daily work will involve solving customer inquiries, delivering training both on-site and remotely, and providing engineering services for 3D CAD administration through Cadmatic CAD Interface Materials. This unique product interfaces Material Management Systems (MMS) with the most popular 3D piping modeling systems (Cadmatic 3D Plant Design, Intergraph Smart® 3D, AVEVA™ E3D Design, etc.). You turn complex questions into successful service experiences and simple solutions—and you enjoy doing it! You find it rewarding to shift between technical support, presales support, and product creation support. If this sounds like you, you might be the person we’re looking for!

In short, your key responsibilities with Cadmatic CAD Interface Materials include:

• Providing advanced-level training for customers
• Acting as the customer’s first interface in software implementation
• Supporting product development by gathering customer feedback
• Testing software using company tools
• Delivering project engineering services, including planning and monitoring
• Conducting technical software demonstrations and proof-of-concepts with the presales team

We expect you to have:

• A technical background
• 3+ years of experience in 3D CAD administration (e.g., Intergraph Smart® 3D, AVEVA™ E3D Design, Bentley OpenPlant)
• Knowledge of piping design
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructures
• General familiarity with Windows tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Great interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Italian and English (minimum B1 level)

As a professional, you are a technical expert who enjoys working closely with customers. You are confident, proactive, and independent, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You know how to prioritize tasks when handling multiple cases and take ownership of your work. You also enjoy collaborating with your team, sharing knowledge, and continuously improving.

As part of our Customer Success Team in Italy, you’ll work closely with our global customer services, presales, product development, and other professionals, contributing to our ambitious growth plans. We’re flexible with locations—you can work from our Piacenza office or remotely from your home office in Italy. You will report to Oscar Bergonzi, Technical Manager of the Customer Success Team.
