Within the Product Development & Sourcing department, the Soft Accessories Developer is responsible for taking gloves, beanies, and soft accessories from concept to production. This role requires close collaboration across design, sourcing, and quality teams with strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of gloves, beanies, socks from a construction, cost, and basic fit principles. The developer ensures that each product meets functional, quality, and cost expectations while staying true to the design vision.

Your missions will include:

1. Lead the product development process from concept through production ensuring alignment with seasonal timelines
2. Collaborate with Design and Merchandising teams providing technical input and suggestions to support design intent
3. Translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and detailed technical sketches and documentation
4. Own and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) from 1st prototype to final production ensuring accuracy and consistency
5. Create and maintain tech packs, fit standards, and measurement charts specific to accessories
6. Act as the primary liaison with vendors ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution
7. Conduct reviews of prototypes evaluating construction, quality, and fit
8. Organize and lead fittings and prototype reviews, documenting and communicating all necessary changes
9. Ensure all products meet Rossignol’s quality standards through close collaboration with the Quality team
10. Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues related to quality, technical construction, and functionality

About you:

1. You have 2-5 years’ experience in accessories development (gloves, beanies, and/or socks)
2. You are collaborative with a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally
3. You are able to work proactively and cross-functionally with ease
4. You have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. You have a great understanding of performance product needs, fit, and attention to details
6. You understand cost and cost drivers
7. You have effective communication skills in English (written and spoken)
