We are seeking an Analytical Development Intern to join our team in Monza. The role performs and certificates laboratory tests in collaboration with the Head of Department for products of the para pharmaceutical area within the approved research programs. He / She validates analytical methods for the characterization and monitoring of products in R&D, plans and registers the assigned analytical activities monitoring the correct laboratory operation (materials, service and equipment).

Main Activities

  • Perform stability study on medical devices, food supplements and cosmetics .
  • Develop analytical methods to analyze raw materials and R&D products.
  • Perform method validation and promote improvements on analytical methods.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance on the writing of operational instructions regarding the analytical laboratory.
  • Support R&D formulation department to develop new products.
  • Manage orders for materials and services. Maintain and ensure proper functioning of laboratories equipment.
  • Collaborate with external laboratories and review analysis performed by third parties and support analytical team to manage the relative analytical projects and data evaluation.
  • Support analytical team to conduct analytical projects, within the approved research. programs, to characterize and investigate raw materials and products of parapharmaceutical area.
  • record assigned tests, according to requests from other departments and according to priority.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology.
  • 1 years of experience in analytical method development in analytical or Research laboratory is not required but an added value.
  • He / She must have knowledge of the following techniques: GC-FID, HPLC-DAD, HPLC-MS, GC-MS and FT-IR.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
