Overview
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our EMEA FP&A team at Cordis on a 10-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to deepen their exposure in a dynamic, international environment.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and act as a key business partner to General Managers across selected markets. You will play an important role in driving financial insights, supporting decision-making, and improving overall business performance.

Responsibilities
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and financial statement review, and translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights
- Support and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, incorporating business initiatives, market dynamics, and operational drivers
- Perform customer and product profitability analysis to support pricing, investment decisions, and margin optimization
- Act as a key business partner to General Managers in selected markets, providing financial guidance and challenging assumptions to drive performance
- Collaborate with global Finance functions to ensure accurate representation of regional data and alignment with group standards
- Work cross‑functionally with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, and other stakeholders
- Support statutory and internal audit processes for EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements
- Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in FP&A, controlling, or a similar role (not suitable for fresh graduates)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in working with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Proven ability to manage priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving data sets
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with tools such as JDE, OAC, or OneStream is an advantage
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Additional European language is a plus
