Analyst Capital Markets

Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for a Capital Markets Analyst for a Real Estate advisory Company.

The position

The successful candidate will support deal origination, financial analysis, transaction execution, and strategic advisory assignments across real-estate and urban regeneration projects.

He/she will be responsible for the following activities:

• Assist in the execution of capital markets and M&A advisory mandates, including valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, and preparation of information memoranda and investor materials;
• Support the development of financial models (DCF, IRR, cash flow, scenario analyses) and value-creation / restructuring plans for real-estate assets and portfolios;
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis across the real estate, retail, and urban regeneration sectors;
• Prepare pitch decks, investment teasers, marketing materials, and deal execution documentation;
• Participate in client meetings, coordination with internal stakeholders (asset management, development, ESG), and liaise with external advisors and investors;
• Monitor and track market trends, capital markets developments, and relevant M&A deals in real-estate / retail / urban regeneration sectors.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or soon to graduate) in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business/Management, or a related discipline;
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, real-estate advisory, M&A, or structured finance, preferably with exposure to real-estate and capital markets transactions;
• Strong financial modelling skills (Excel), valuation techniques (DCF, comparable, precedent), and ability to prepare investment memoranda and pitch materials;
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian;
• Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and interest in real estate, urban regeneration, sustainability.
