Analog/RFIC Designer – Optical Transceivers
We are currently partnered with a world-class research organization developing next-generation high-frequency communication systems. They are looking to hire an Analog Designer to drive the development of cutting-edge RFICs.
**This role is full time on-site in Milan**
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, simulation, and verification of high-performance Analog ICs for integrated optical transceiver modules
- Collaborate with system engineers to translate complex technical requirements into high-performance product specifications
- Mentor and drive physical layout activities for both building blocks and full-chip top levels
- Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate competing architectures, and share best practices to elevate team capabilities
Key requirements
- Master’s degree/PHD in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Hands-on experience in Analog/RFIC design, with a proven record of moving complex designs into production
- Experience in SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS technologies
- Proficiency with Cadence Design Framework from initial circuit implementation to final testing
