Position Summary
The Alternate Contract Manager supports the Contract Manager in the oversight, coordination, and execution of ACS Consolidated Services and assumes full Contract Manager responsibilities in their absence. This individual ensures continuity of operations, compliance with contract requirements, and timely communication with the Government.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contract Support & Continuity
- Serve as acting Contract Manager when the primary Contract Manager is unavailable
- Assist in oversight of daily ACS service operations and staffing coordination
- Support workload planning, scheduling adjustments, and service coverage requirements
Government & COR Coordination
- Communicate with the COR on operational matters and service issues
- Attend meetings, briefings, and coordination events as directed
- Assist with preparation and submission of reports, documentation, and responses
Quality Assurance
- Assist in monitoring contractor performance against PWS standards
- Support implementation and enforcement of the Quality Control Plan
- Identify potential performance issues and support corrective action efforts
Administrative & Personnel Support
- Assist in onboarding, credentialing, and training documentation for contractor staff
- Support compliance with installation access and security requirements
- Promote workforce stability and professional conduct across all service areas
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in relevant ACS-related, administrative, or support service functions
- Language Proficiency: Level 4 Fluent in both English and Italian (oral and written)
- Skills & Competencies: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with diverse and multicultural populations; detail-oriented with strong communication abilities
Security & Access Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. installation access and CAC sponsorship
- Favorable background check required
- Completion of all mandatory Army training requirements
