ALGORITHM ENGINEER

Akronos Technologies Group, an Italian company leader in innovation and high-tech engineering services, is looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join our R&D teams.

Positions: Algorithm Engineer
Location: Pordenone, Italia

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test and validate control and machine learning algorithms for appliances both in simulation, hardware in the loop, and on real products
2. Maintain and update existing control algorithms and the Model Based Design framework
3. Interface with project stakeholders
4. Production of technical documentation
5. Plan job tasks to match project schedules following Agile workflow

Competence Requirements:

1. BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Automation/Information/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering
2. At least 1 year of working experience as Control System Engineer
3. Very good knowledge of linear and non-linear control
4. Good knowledge of machine learning methods and algorithms for motor control
5. Knowledge of C, C++ and Python language programming
6. Proficient user of Matlab/Simulink

Soft Skills Requirements:

1. Organizational skills and teamworking attitude
2. Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
