AIV Engineer

We are seeking an AIV Engineer to be involved in major projects in the space sector .

Background

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.);
• Check computer hardware devices to ensure functionality;
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications;
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance;
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems;
• Write test documentation in terms of Test Specification, Test Procedure, and Test Report;
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance;
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.

Skills

• Proven experience as AIV Technician or relevant position;
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills;
• Excellent communication ability;
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills;
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems, networks, and hardware virtualization;
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles;
• High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility;
• Fluency in both spoken and written (Business) English.

Tasks

• Integration activities (e.g. on site GS software installation, configuration, support to network integration, integration with external entities);
• Participate to Test Readiness Reviews, Test Review Boards and Non-conformance Review Boards;
• Preparation of Test Reports, SPR, non conformances related to GS integration tasks;
• Identification of any complementary test to be added to lower level Integration Plans that introduces benefit or improvement to GS Integration Process;
• Verify GS readiness to start the validation tests on-site;
• Review Validation Plans issued at lower level for GS subsystems;
• Detailed definition of GS Validation tests schedule;
• Set up of test tools needed for Validation tests execution;
• Execution of GS Validation activities through specific validation test procedures;
• Mapping the successful coverage of validation tests w.r.t the GS Requirements;
• Preparation of Test Reports, SPR, non conformances related to GS verification & validation tasks;
• Preparation of Verification Reports by Inspection, Review of Design, and Analysis Methods.
