VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an AI Platform / LLM DevOps Engineer to work from the European Commission, in Ispra, Italy.
The role:
- Deploy and configure Large Language Models (LLMs) in development and production environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for AI model integration and release processes.
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
- Install, test, and validate new AI models and platforms before deployment.
- Support AI model training workflows and ensure proper environment configuration.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
You have:
- Strong experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD , especially GitLab
- Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker mindset)
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience working with OpenShift
- Experience installing and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle (deployment, testing, monitoring)
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days/week on-site in Ispra)
