About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AI Manager to define, coordinate, and supervise the development of artificial intelligence systems across our innovation portfolio.

The role combines technical leadership, AI architecture design, and research integration , ensuring that AI systems developed within Institute Itech are scientifically robust, scalable, and aligned with institutional goals.

The AI Manager will work closely with engineering teams, scientific researchers, and executive leadership to structure and guide AI development across projects.

Responsibilities:

AI Strategy and Architecture

• Define and supervise the AI development roadmap across Memoria™, Oxyleaf™, Terra™, and Biocity™
• Design scalable AI architectures and intelligent systems
• Ensure interoperability between AI modules developed across projects

Technical Leadership

• Coordinate AI engineers, data scientists, and developers
• Review model architectures, development workflows, and technical implementation
• Establish internal AI development standards and best practices

Machine Learning Systems

• Supervise ML pipelines including data preparation, training, validation, and deployment
• Oversee the development of predictive models, pattern recognition systems, and intelligent decision-support tools
• Ensure reliability, reproducibility, and scientific validation of AI models

Research and Innovation

• Support collaboration between engineering teams and scientific researchers
• Contribute to research publications and technical documentation when applicable
• Identify opportunities for AI innovation within Institute Itech projects

Ethics, Security, and Compliance

• Ensure AI systems comply with GDPR, AI regulatory frameworks, and data protection policies
• Promote ethical AI development and responsible data usage
• Implement model transparency and bias mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or advanced computational systems
• Strong expertise in:
• Python
• Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent)
• AI model development and deployment
• Data analysis and large-scale data processing
• Experience coordinating or supervising AI development teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Master’s degree required , PhD in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in MedTech, environmental technologies, or scientific research environments
• Knowledge of AI governance and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with large-scale data infrastructures
• Academic publications or research collaborations
• Ability to translate scientific innovation into scalable technological systems

Compensation

Annual Gross Salary: €55,000 – €75,000 , depending on experience, expertise, and location.

Additional performance incentives may be considered based on project milestones and institutional growth.
