Responsibilities
Evaluate and promote AI‑assisted engineering tools and workflows aligned with enterprise standards and architecture principles Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Architecture, Platform, and DevOps teams to identify automation and productivity opportunities across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines Drive adoption of AI‑assisted development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, observability, and operational practices Support AI‑assisted workflows across composable commerce platforms, cloud‑native applications, integration layers, ERP/payment integrations, and existing eCommerce systems Contribute to reusable engineering practices, governance, standards, and knowledge sharing across squads and vendors Define and track engineering productivity, QA, and operational metrics to support continuous improvement Promote consistent adoption of AI‑assisted practices across teams, contributing to engineering governance and shared standards Drive adoption of LLM‑based automation and enterprise AI tooling within engineering organizations
Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience At least [X] years of experience in AI‑assisted software engineering workflows and modern development tooling Knowledge of frontend/backend technologies, APIs, cloud‑native architectures, microservices, and CI/CD practices Knowledge of English at C1 level and Italian fluency Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment
Nice to have
Previous experience in composable commerce platforms (e.g. commercetools or similar) would be a plus Experience improving developer experience, automation, observability, or operational stability in large‑scale environments Familiarity with LLM‑based automation and enterprise AI tooling evaluation/adoption Ability to train and support teams adopting new engineering practices, tooling, and workflows Ability to drive adoption and influence engineering practices without direct authority

Compensation & Pay Transparency
Gross Annual Salary (RAL) Range / initial fixed RAL: EUR 36000 – EUR 50000. The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria. Variable compensation: any discretionary bonuses are not guaranteed and are not included in the stated gross annual salary.
