The Role

We’re hiring an AI Engineer to work at the intersection of applied AI, business operations, and execution. This role is about taking AI out of theory and into production — directly inside our portfolio companies and business units.

You’ll work closely with operators, product leaders, and our central AI team to identify high impact opportunities, deploy AI-powered solutions end to end, and ensure they deliver real business results.

What you’ll do

• Develop and Integrate new AI features into our product portfolio working directly with business units owners and product managers.
• Ensure reliability and guardrails by adding validation, error handling, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop escalation for ambiguous or high-risk actions.
• Set up monitoring and observability for features and agents in production to capture conversations, tool calls, failure modes, and user ratings to drive improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and frameworks in applied AI.

What you bring

• 2-6 years of experience in Software Engineering or AI Applications Engineering.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLM, RAG, Tool-use, and AI Agents frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Cohere etc.).
• Strong Python backend development skills.
• Good Javascript or Typescript skills for frontend development.
• Solid Prompt / Context Engineering Skills and theoretical knowledge of LLMs.
• Proven experience turning Software / AI prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Practical mindset, able to balance speed, quality, and scalability.

Nice to have

• Exposure to business metrics, operational KPIs, cost drivers, and basic P&L dynamics in digital or software businesses.
• Ability to reason about AI solutions not just technically, but in terms of ROI, efficiency gains, and operational impact.
