After Sales Service Specialist

This role sits within a long-established global engineering group known for its precision technologies and industrial metal AM systems. The business designs and manufactures its equipment in-house, with a strong European presence and a customer base spanning aerospace, medical, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Their AM platform is used for production-grade metal parts, backed by solid engineering depth and long-term investment in process control, metrology, and system reliability.

You’ll support customers ensuring systems stay productive and well maintained, while acting as a trusted technical contact for complex industrial users.

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and validate metal AM systems and supporting hardware.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, optical, and software issues with clear, structured troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, calibrations, and system upgrades on customer sites.
• Provide on site and remote technical support, coordinating with engineering teams when needed.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, parts usage, and field feedback.

Experience Required:

• Field service experience on complex industrial equipment (e.g. CNC, laser systems, automation, or AM).
• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics.
• Fluent Italian and solid technical English.
