After Sales Manager (Service, Spare Parts & Revamping)


The Company

CTP Team is an international engineering and manufacturing company founded in 1970 and headquartered in Lallio (BG), Italy. With 900+ systems designed and installed worldwide, we deliver full EPC turnkey solutions and specialized technologies for gas cleaning and air pollution control, including filtration, chemical treatment, De-NOx, De-SOx, acid treatment, dioxin elimination and Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) systems.


The Role

The position is based in Bergamo HQ (Lallio)

We are currently recruiting an After Sales Manager (Service, Spare Parts & Revamping) to lead and structure after sales activities on the installed base and develop new business. The role manages two internal team members and is responsible for ensuring accurate execution of spare parts and service requests, developing maintenance and spare parts plans for existing plants, visiting customer sites in Italy and abroad, and generating new business opportunities in spare parts, service and revamping/upgrades.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 2 (after sales/service back office), setting priorities, workload and standard workflows.
  • Manage the after sales process for the installed base: customer requests, technical clarification, quotations, order entry, follow-up and customer communication.
  • Build and maintain maintenance and spare parts plans for existing plants (recommended parts, critical spares, consumables) in cooperation with internal technical and on site functions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of shipments from a governance/control perspective (quantities, packing list, documentation, contractual requirements), coordinating with internal departments when needed.
  • Conduct site visits (Italy/abroad) to assess plant status, gather data, support customers and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and grow after sales revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities in spare parts, maintenance packages, revamping and upgrades across the installed base meeting the given sales and margin target.
  • Monitor and report after sales KPIs (response time, quotation conversion, margin, shipment/document accuracy, pipeline value) and drive continuous improvement.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in after sales/service within industrial sectors (EPC, process plants, cement/lime, steel, waste-to-energy, chemicals, heavy industry or similar project-based environments).
  • Commercial mindset: ability to develop opportunities, prepare proposals and support negotiations.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation (manuals, drawings, BOM/part lists); basic mechanical drawing reading skills are considered a plus.
  • Confident with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is required (user level for order management, material master and documentation flows).
  • Strong Excel skills and KPI/reporting capability.
  • Fluent Italian and professional English (written and spoken).
  • Availability for frequent short business trips in Italy and abroad.
  • Candidates must already be legally entitled to work in Italy and be currently located in the country.


What We Offer

Direct permanent contract, full-time, in an international project-driven environment.

Compensation package aligned with experience and (Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for Metalworking Industry – CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria), 40 hours per week, with job grade from B1 to A1 depending on experience, and an indicative starting Gross Annual Salary between 45.000,00€ – 65.000,00 €* plus bonus scheme
