Role Description

We are seeking a high‑performing Manager to join our Strategy& Aerospace and Defence Practice in Italy. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global network of 4,500 strategy consultants and to lead complex projects, drive transformational change, and collaborate with high‑profile clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with high‑profile clients to develop and implement innovative strategies for prestigious businesses.
• Assist clients in redefining corporate strategies, anticipating market trends, participating in multinational defence programmes, and devising go‑to‑market strategies.
• Build strong client relationships, mentor team members, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure project delivery on time and within budget while enabling programmes to deliver results across all engagement phases.
• Secure follow‑up projects with existing clients, fostering continuity and long‑term relationships.
• Adapt to diverse client environments and demonstrate personal characteristics that establish recognition as a thought leader.
• Travel internationally as required.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record of career progression and achievements with completed projects and contributions to client and practice development in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
• Excellent academic achievement – Bachelor’s degree (typically in mathematics, finance, economics, engineering or medicine) and a Master’s or MBA from a world‑leading institution.
• 5–7 years of strategy consulting experience at a top‑tier firm or similar experience in a leading corporate institution within the Aerospace and Defence industry.
• Highly numerate, self‑starter with exceptional analytical skills and comfort in structuring ambiguous problems.
• Natural ability to structure and present Aerospace and Defence proposals, leading teams through various methodologies.
• Command of Italian and English; knowledge of a third European language is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Engaged in external interests or passions such as sports, social contribution, NGO/Charity leadership, or executive directorships.
