Advanced Development Engineer with Materials Expertise (m/f/x)

Where we need you

As an Advanced Development Engineer you will play a central role within our R&D organization, supervising and coordinating research projects focused on the development of new products and manufacturing processes. The position is strongly oriented toward material innovation and industrial implementation.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage Advanced Development projects, including planning, prioritization, progress monitoring, reporting, and financial follow-up, as well as documentation for publicly funded projects
• Plan new Advanced Development activities, including budget and timelines, and select and coordinate external research partners
• Lead activities related to the development of raw materials and semi-finished products at a global level
• Contribute to the development of new products and the improvement of existing ones, supporting applications in aerodynamics, propulsion, and structural lightweight design
• Promote technical excellence by strengthening collaboration across teams and functions within the organization

How to convince us

• Degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
• Knowledge of material technologies, especially polymers and composite materials
• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies
• Good English and either Italian or German
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
