Role Overview

The Admissions and Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the exceptional standards of service and professionalism that define Brighton College Rome. Working in close collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Marketing and the Head of Marketing at Intellego Education, the postholder will contribute to the delivery of a refined, highly organised and personalised admissions journey for every prospective family.

This position requires outstanding organisational capability, digital proficiency and exemplary written communication skills, combined with the ability to represent the College with confidence, courtesy and discretion. It is ideally suited to an individual with a polished, client‑focused manner who thrives in a dynamic, high‑performing environment.


Key responsibilities

Admissions

  • Support the Director of Admissions and Marketing in the administration of the full admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment.
  • Respond to enquiries with efficiency, professionalism and warmth, ensuring each family receives exceptional service.
  • Develop positive, trusting relationships with prospective families, guiding them through each stage of the admissions journey.
  • Assist in the organisation of school visits, meetings and admissions events.
  • Coordinate entrance assessments and liaise with academic and pastoral staff regarding outcomes.
  • Prepare offers, enrolment documentation and onboarding materials to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of clear, well‑structured and consistent admissions processes.


Systems and data management

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive admissions records within HubSpot
  • Ensure all communications and enquiries are correctly logged and organised within the CRM.
  • Monitor admissions pipelines to support timely and effective follow‑up.
  • Maintain pupil information within iSAMS and assist in ensuring alignment between systems.
  • Support data reporting, cleansing and compliance with data protection requirements.


Marketing and communications

  • Assist in capturing the life of the school through high‑quality photography and short‑form video content.
  • Support the preparation and scheduling of social media posts in accordance with the school’s communications plan.
  • Draft polished, concise and on‑brand written content that reflects the values and tone of Brighton College.
  • Collaborate with teaching and leadership staff to gather materials showcasing the school’s events, achievements and activities.
  • Support the promotion and delivery of Open Days and other admissions‑related events.
  • Ensure all communications uphold the Brighton College’s standards of excellence, warmth and professionalism.


Parent and community engagement

  • Serve as a welcoming, articulate and professional first point of contact for prospective families.
  • Build positive relationships with both local and international families exploring the College.
  • Contribute to ensuring that visits, events and communications consistently reflect the high standards of Brighton College Rome.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of Open Days and associated events.


General responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Admissions and Marketing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and administrative teams.
  • Uphold exceptional organisational standards and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Undertake additional duties that support pupil recruitment and the broader life of the College.


Person specification


Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative or admissions roles, ideally within an educational or similarly professional environment.
  • Advanced digital literacy, including CRM systems (HubSpot desirable) and school MIS platforms (iSAMS desirable).
  • Native‑level English with excellent written communication and the ability to produce refined, accurate and professional correspondence.
  • Confident Italian (C1) language skills (written and spoken).
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused and adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Warm, confident and polished interpersonal style.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
  • A keen eye for capturing high‑quality imagery or short‑form content for digital communications.
