ACCREDITATIONS & RANKINGS INTERNSHIP

SDA Bocconi School of Management – Milan


Mission of the Role

The resource will contribute to overseeing the School’s accreditation and ranking processes, supporting the monitoring and reporting of institutional activities and the KPIs required by accrediting bodies.

The role involves collecting and organizing the documentation required for accreditation and ranking processes, as well as managing and updating institutional datasets, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and confidentiality of information.


Main Responsibilities

Operational Management of Accreditation and Ranking Processes

  • Support the operational management of ranking and accreditation processes, contributing to the planning of activities and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the School’s internal functions and with external stakeholders to collect the necessary information.
  • Prepare and organize the documentation required by accrediting bodies and ranking organizations.
  • Support the organization of audits and institutional visits (accreditation and certification bodies), including the management of logistics and follow-up activities.


Institutional Research and Analytical Reporting

  • Support the preparation of analyses, reports, and summary materials on the School’s activities in support of accreditation processes.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of information useful to highlight and enhance SDA Bocconi’s educational and organizational model.


Continuous Improvement

  • Support the School’s different units in reviewing and improving their workflows and internal processes with a continuous improvement perspective.


Monitoring and Data Collection

  • Support the monitoring of program quality through the collection and analysis of data related to teaching methodologies, achievement of learning objectives, and teaching evaluations.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of student success indicators (admissions, academic progression, placement, alumni engagement).
  • Support the monitoring of faculty research activities and other initiatives through bibliographic updates and information gathering from both internal and external sources.
  • Support the collection and structuring of evidence for assessing the impact of research and the social impact of the School’s activities.


Information Systems and Archives Management

  • Support the maintenance, update, or drafting of documentation related to the Quality Assurance System (policies, procedures, guidelines, operating instructions), in compliance with accrediting bodies’ guidelines.
  • Use and update databases and CRM systems to extract and update datasets required for accreditation and ranking processes.
  • Support, when necessary, the creation and maintenance of dashboards and monitoring tools (e.g., Power BI).


Requirements

  • Master’s degree (e.g., sociology, pedagogy, education sciences, economics, or related fields).
  • Excellent knowledge of the Italian language.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • At least 6 months of proven experience abroad (study, work, or other international experiences)
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills.
  • Operational familiarity with information systems and database management (e.g., CRM).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).


Soft Skills

  • Precision, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity, gained through professional or academic experience, with monitoring or evaluation activities in one or more of the following areas: quality of educational programs / teaching; research and research evaluation; social impact and impact measurement
  • Experience in education environments (universities, business schools) or in areas related to quality and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
