Johnson Electric is looking for an AR Team Leader to join our European Finance organization.
In this role, you will be based onsite in Asti, Italy , while closely connected to our European Finance Shared Service Center in Hatvan, Hungary.
This position is responsible for leading our European AR activities : guiding the team, ensuring process controls, and driving results in a fast-paced, international environment.
To ensure close collaboration with your team, you will also travel regularly to Hungary (approx. 1–2 times per month) . These visits allow you to work side by side with colleagues, build trust, and gain firsthand insight into the shared service environment – while keeping your base in Italy.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the Accounts Receivable Team by providing guidance, support and training AR Officers
- Ensure cash collection, cash application and a minimum level of overdue accounts receivable balances
- Have frequent meetings with internal/external customers directly or via a delegated team member
- Act as the first point of escalation for AR related issues
- Run recurring reviews on AR overdue with the internal stakeholders
- Fulfil credit management function including evaluation of credit worthiness of customers
- Highlight potential problems with customers
- Assure timely completed and accurate AR closing
- Improve AR and related processes and measurable KPIs
- Maintain low-risk profile internal control environment
Our requirements:
- BSc. or MSc. degree in Economics
- Solid background in Accounts Receivables within a Shared Service Center environment
- 3–5 years of experience in the field of Accounts Receivables, Cash Collection
- People management , leadership experience
- Fluency in English
- Proactive, self-motivated personality
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Prior experience with Oracle would be an advantage
- Ability and willingness to regular travelling to Hungary (1-2 times/month)
