We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced global organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, and has a strong grasp of accounting principles in an international context.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and post vendor invoices across multiple regions (domestic and international).
- Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with onboarding and updates to supplier data.
- Review contracts, expense reports, and related documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of key reports.
- Manage payment runs and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Handle VAT and other tax-related declarations in coordination with internal finance teams.
- Analyze travel and expense reports to verify accuracy and adherence to company policy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to resolve invoice or payment issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within an international or mid-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes and month-end reporting.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel (including working with formulas and reports).
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or another European language is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
