MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES


As part of the Finance team, the Accounting & Tax Coordinator will play a key role in managing accounting operations and tax compliance, contributing to regulatory adherence and the continuous improvement of administrative processes. The main responsibilities are:


  • Coordinate and control monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for these entities
  • Prepare and record adjusting entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
  • Support monthly closings and preparation of monthly/quarterly Financial Statements
  • Manage and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for foreign subsidiaries
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and related depreciation schedules
  • Support group consolidation processes
  • Act as a key interface with internal and external auditors
  • Collaborate consistently with local and international Finance functions (FP&A, Treasury, Tax)
  • Support in the preparation of the annual financial statements and adjusting entries
  • Calculation of direct taxes and deferred taxation in accordance with national accounting standards
  • Supervision of ordinary and extraordinary tax obligations (VAT, corporate income taxes, withholding taxes, CU, 770, etc.)
  • Ongoing updates on tax and accounting regulations
  • Preparation of Transfer Price Document


REQUIREMENTS


  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration
  • Proven experience in similar roles, preferably in structured companies or professional firms
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian tax regulations (VAT, IRES, IRAP, withholding taxes, etc.)
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and managing tax compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP), Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Accuracy and reliability in handling sensitive data and deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and decision-making autonomy
  • Effective communication, including with non-technical stakeholders
