Key Responsibilities
- Support all accounting activities for our Italian operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting according to both local and group standards.
- Support the review, and analysis of financial information, assisting in making necessary corrections and adjustments.
- Support and assist monthly and annual financial closings.
- Assist the intercompany transactions, ensuring reconciliation between entities.
- Contribute to process improvements by strengthening and documenting existing financial procedures, automating repetitive tasks to focus on high-value activities.
- Support internal audits and annual tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in Finance/Accounting (e.g., MSc in Finance, CCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within an international organization or previous experience in audit (Big Four) for at least 2-3 years.
- Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools, including Excel (Google Sheets is a plus). Experience with accounting software (Oracle or similar) and proficiency in year‑end closing, VAT, and tax reporting.
- Detail‑oriented, methodical, and analytical, with excellent problem‑solving skills. Comfortable working independently and taking on large‑scale responsibilities.
Additional Information
- Place of work: Milano, Via Perin del Vaga 2, 20156
- Shifts include a total of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00.
