Accounting Specialist

Role Mission

To ensure accurate and compliant accounting and tax management, supporting monthly and annual closing processes and delivering reliable financial data to local management and corporate HQ, in full compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and local tax regulations, contributing to the financial stability and growth of the Group

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
• Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Record monthly payroll journal entries, including salaries, taxes, social contributions, TFR, and related accruals
• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes according to corporate deadlines and OIC
• Ensure proper application of VAT and compliance with local tax regulations
• Supporting accounting schedules, reports and documentations for internal management and corporate HQ
• Support externa auditors and tax consultants during periodic audits
• Handle additional administrative and accounting duties assigned by Accounting Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (or Accounting diploma with strong experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles
• Solid understanding of Italian GAAP (OIC), VAT, payroll-related accounting, and tax requirements
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Italian and english fluent
