Accounting Specialist - Czech & English Speaker

MEC3 Sro , part of the Group, plays a key role in supporting business development in the Czech market.

To strengthen our local team, we are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist , who might be located either in Prague or in Rimini based on preferred Candidate residence.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities in accordance with local accounting standards, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports sent to head office. They will collaborate with internal and external contacts and provide support for accounting and administrative processes within a well-structured, international environment.

Activities:

Bookkeeping in accordance with Czech accounting standards:

• Cash collections and payments
• Accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and stock accounting
• Payroll accounting
• General ledger entries
• Payments via online banking
• Accrual-based monthly reporting to HQ
• Cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of monthly INTRASTAT reports
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Stakeholder management:
• Group functions
• Payroll consultant
• Tax consultant
• External auditor
• Support during the consolidation process
• Management of accounting documents, minutes, and corporate records.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Knowledge of Money – nice to have
• Knowledge of SAP - nice to have
• Strong autonomy in managing daily accounting activities
• Previous experience in accounting/administrative roles (3–5 years)

Languages:

• Czech: native
• English: fluent
• Italian: nice to have

Contract type:

Permanent employment contract – Food Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL: Industria Alimentare – CNEL E012)

Salary: 35.000 - 40.000 € gross per year

Working Hours: Full-time

Place of work: Mec3 Headquarters in San Clemente (Rimini); availability to travel as required.
