What the Job Entails (Top 5 Responsibilities)
Own full-cycle accounting and monthly close for a portfolio of eCommerce clients, ensuring a clean 5-day close on submitted work Review Accountant work for accuracy, completeness, and documentation quality Prepare and review reconciliations (bank, credit card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS, prepaids, accruals, returns) Communicate directly with clients to share updates, clarify questions, request information, and flag issues early Strengthen internal processes and controls; help streamline workflows to improve accuracy and speed What Makes This Role Unique
Similar scope of work as a Controller, but with slightly smaller or less complex portfolios, allowing focused ownership High degree of client-facing interaction, owning operational communication with founders and client teams Exposure to high-growth Shopify, Amazon, and DTC brands across various industries Tech-powered workflows with strong Operations support and standardized internal processes The Type of Person Who Succeeds Here (Top 5 Traits)
