About the Role

The Accounting Specialist in Felia is responsible for managing daily administrative and accounting operations.

Our ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial records, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support the finance team in monthly closings and financial reporting processes.

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily financial operations, ensuring everything from general ledger management to statutory compliance is handled with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Analytical Accounting: Manage daily bookkeeping with a focus on cost center accounting and analytical dimensions.
• Reporting & Closings: Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly group closing reports and Year-End Financial Statements (Local GAAP/IFRS).
• Reconciliations: Oversee ledger account controls, inter-company matching, and settlements.
• Tax & Compliance: Manage VAT calculations, professional withholding tax (Ritenute d’Acconto ), and ensure all statutory filings are met.
• Asset & Corporate Records: Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure mandatory corporate books/social registers are up to date.
• Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and the Board of Statutory Auditors (Collegio Sindacale ).
• Systems Innovation: Support the implementation and optimization of ERP modules (e-invoicing, order management, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within a structured corporate environment. Big 4 experience is a significant plus.
• Technical Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite experience is a Nice to Have ).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of local tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Mindset: Analytical thinker with extreme attention to detail and a commitment to meeting strict fiscal deadlines.
