Campfire designs and delivers nature-based corporate retreats and events across Europe. Originating in Germany and now with a growing presence in Italy (Turin) , we are a small, international team passionate about creating meaningful experiences that help teams connect, recharge, and grow.
We’re looking for a Part-Time Accountant to support the financial operations of our Italian entity (Campfire SRL ) and to collaborate closely with our Sales and Planning teams. You’ll also be in contact with our external consultant, who works in both Italian and German .
Location: Turin (hybrid work possible), at least 2 days/week in our Turin office is required
Contract: Part-time (hours to be defined, indicatively 15-20 hours/week); P.IVA collaboration also possible
Working Hours: Flexible (mornings or afternoons, approx. 4–5 hours per day)
Language Requirements: English & Italian proficiency (spoken and written); German or other languages are a plus
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting of Campfire SRL
- Create and manage invoices for our Italian event projects (clients & suppliers)
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Collaborate with the Planning Team on project-related budgets and payments
- Log working hours for payslips and liaise with our Italian payroll studio
- Support the application of internal policies and procedures (e.g. time-off requests, reimbursements) in coordination with HR/COO
- Liaise with external consultants (payroll, labor law, insurance) to ensure compliance
- Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with Italian regulations
- Support with other administrative finance tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting or financial administration
- Solid knowledge of Italian accounting practices (invoicing, compliance, payments)
- Ability to identify issues and raise the right questions with our consultant (no deep tax/balance-sheet expertise required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written); German and/or other languages are an advantage
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Fatture in Cloud, Zucchetti, or similar) is a plus
