Account Manager – Ruminants (Italy)


We are seeking an Italy-based Account Manager to join a leading animal nutrition company and drive growth in the ruminants sector (dairy and/or beef). This role focuses on managing key accounts, supporting distributors, feed mills, and farmers, and providing hands-on technical and commercial guidance to ensure optimal animal health and nutrition.


Locations & Scope:

  • Based in Italy (no relocation available)
  • Support activities across Italian regions, with occasional interaction with neighboring markets as needed
  • Up to 50% travel to visit farms, distributors, and feed mills


Who Should Apply:

✅ Practical, hands-on experience in ruminants nutrition and management

✅ Proven track record working with distributors, farmers, and feed mills

✅ Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience in animal nutrition

✅ Strong communication skills in English and Italian


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, feed mills, and end customers
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support on ruminant feed and nutrition products
  • Identify and develop new distribution partners to expand market presence
  • Support sales targets and contribute to business growth plans
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows
